Wudang He Taiji: Private Lessons on Request
This Daoist internal martial art is a form of moving meditation which serves to open the flow of Qi (energy) through the body. Practice of Taiji (Tai Chi) helps to regulate the systems of the body (blood pressure, heart rate, flexibility) as you learn to move in harmony with the universal way.
The Wudang He Short Form is an 8 movement form which anyone can learn and take into their daily life as a supportive excercise, meditation, and spiritual cultivation practice.

The Wudang He Long Form contains 74 movements which continue where the short form leaves off, and is both a powerful martial arts form and a practice of self-healing, opening, grounding, meditation and cultivation.

I aim to hold a gentle, supportive space in my Taiji and Qigong classes. I consider these classes a meditation and a sacred time to spend together in spiritual cultivation. In my experience, these forms are a most beneficial medicine for the health and balance of our body, mind and spirit. True to my teacher, the classes are held in a traditional lineage Qi field. Practice, gentle repetition of the movements, sound, meditation and a bit of Daoist philosophy become the focus of our time together.
